December 28th, last of the jalapeños taking a lime bath prior to pickling. I’ve only used pickling lime for cucumber pickles and they came out extra crispy. Found a recipe at Nat’l Center for Home Food Preservation using the lime soak for jalapeños and thought I’d give it a try. Disappointed by soggy pickled peppers in the past, this is an extra special effort for David’s Birthday tomorrow!! HaPpY Birthday, Honey-bear!
